Pastor Henry Oladayo Odewale is the Setman and Lead Pastor of Saviours Assembly International, a fast-growing church headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, with other branches spread across the nation. He is a teacher, evangelist, and prophet whose ministry is built on one unshakeable conviction: to see the world immersed in the revelation of Jesus Christ. His preaching and teaching carry a strong, consistent emphasis on the finished work of Christ and the far-reaching implications of these realities for every area of human life.
Before founding Saviours Assembly, Pastor Henry led Globe for Christ Ministry, an interdenominational fellowship he founded where believers gathered weekly across denominational lines for the Word and prayer. It was a platform that drew hungry hearts together regardless of church affiliation, united by a common pursuit of Christ. When God gave the mandate to plant a local church, Pastor Henry dissolved Globe for Christ entirely and gave himself wholly to this new divine instruction.
A Mandate Revealed
Saviours Assembly International was born through a series of divine encounters in which God revealed His desire to raise and release saviours equipped to govern in every sphere of life, so that the kingdom of God would have full and visible expression on the earth (Obadiah 1:21). This mandate was further confirmed through a vision in which God spoke clearly to Pastor Henry about raising a prophetic company of believers who would redeem sectors, systems, and infrastructures from demonic influence.
Together with his wife, Pastor Ifeoluwa Odewale, he stepped out in obedience in 2016 to birth a ministry centred on the revelation of Christ and the authentic manifestation of the Spirit.
Since its founding, Saviours Assembly International has grown from a small, faith-filled gathering into a vibrant community of hundreds to thousands of believers. The church is marked by sound, Christ-centred doctrine, a strong prophetic culture, and a commitment to raising believers who carry the kingdom into their homes, workplaces, and spheres of influence. Long before the church was planted, Pastor Henry had organised large-scale evangelistic crusades that drew thousands of attendees, consistently accompanied by remarkable testimonies of healings, miracles, and lives dramatically transformed by the power of the Gospel.
Pastor Henry also moves in a consistent and accurate prophetic grace. His prophetic ministry has brought confirmed direction, timely counsel, and the precise word of God to countless individuals and communities.
Alongside his pastoral work, Pastor Henry authors the Daily Benefits devotional, a monthly publication that has become a trusted resource for believers seeking to walk daily in the fullness of God's Word and provision. He is happily married to Pastor Ifeoluwa Odewale, his partner in life and in ministry. Together, they are raising their three children in the love and knowledge of God, building a home that is itself a testimony of the message they carry to the world.
